BUILDING THE FUTURE OF FILM - YEAR ROUND
EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF FILMMAKERS
The Santa Cruz Film Festival is growing beyond five days in October. We have been working diligently on our next evolution and are excited to announce that in January of 2027, we will launch the Santa Cruz Film Foundation, a year-round home for film education, creative development, and meaningful connection.
The Foundation will expand access to hands-on workshops, industry-led seminars, screenplay development, special screenings, filmmaker conversations, and career-building opportunities for students, emerging storytellers, working artists, and film lovers throughout our community.
By bringing together filmmakers, educators, industry professionals, cultural organizations, and local partners, we are creating more than a festival. We are building a sustainable creative ecosystem—one that gives storytellers the skills, resources, relationships, and confidence to bring their work to life.
Your sponsorship helps turn this vision into action—supporting the next generation of filmmakers while strengthening Santa Cruz as a vibrant destination for independent film, education, and the cinematic arts.
